Dense as uranium
By Michael Taylor
I've read a few of these "Very short introduction" series, and mostly they are concise, intelligible, and a good primer on their chosen subject. I found this one hard to get to grips with, and the formulas and tables were illegible, and didn't enlarge if you turned the Kindle sideways. About the only useful thing I took out of it was that if anyone offers you a genuine Marie Curie cookbook, be afraid, be very afraid.
